From July 19 through mid-autumn the exhibition Eagles, Flags, and Heroes: Signs and Symbols of Patriotic Pride, organized by Ann Percy, Associate Curator for Drawings, considerably enlivened the Ground Floor Corridor. Popular American emblems ranging from eagles to Uncle Sam adorned a colorful variety of approximately 50 objects in diverse media.
