Legacy in Light

The Photography Sesquicentennial Project is organizing an exhibition entitled Legacy in Light: Photographic Treasures from Philadelphia Area Public Collections, to be held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from May 26 through August 12, 1990. Drawing from the literally hundreds of institutional photography collections in the Delaware Valley, guest curator Kenneth Finkel, Curator of Prints at the Library Company of Philadelphia, has chosen from 30 regional institutions 125 images that reflect both the rich history of photography in our area and the quality and diversity of the region's public photography collections.
