Headless Woman Bending Over

Auguste Rodin

French, 1840 - 1917

The Rodin Museum owns both a plaster and a bronze Headless Woman Bending Over. The plaster—a gift of the artist to his friend Jean Dolent (1835–1909), a French critic, writer, and art collector—was purchased by Mastbaum on the Paris art market, and the bronze from the Musée Rodin.
