Miniature Chandelier

Artist/maker unknown

Small-scale or miniature household objects made of silver were intended as furnishings for doll houses (or “baby houses” as the English called them). Made by eighteenth-century Dutch and English silversmiths who specialized in the creation of tiny silver objects, these pieces belonged to Jeannette B. Stern Whitebook.
