This print is one of numerous projects that Willie Stokes has undertaken in collaboration with the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. Founded in 1977, the Fabric Workshop initially offered artists and students the opportunity to explore screenprinting on fabric. Over the years, through artist residencies and the development of new technologies, the scope of experimentation at the workshop has expanded to include installations, prints, and objects of all kinds, though screenprinting remains a vital element of their program.
