Bruckner, Shoe Maker, LondonThese fringed silk shoes have low curved heels and long pointed toes, both typical of feminine footwear of the very late eighteenth century. The paper label - a recent innovation by shoemakers - boasts of the shoemaker's royal warrant to the daughter of George III.
