Artist/maker unknown

Image 1 of 21 / 2

In the eighteenth century, mustard was served at the table in both dry and prepared form; this pot, which has a hole in the back of the lid for a spoon, was for prepared mustard. Its shape is based on a silver form that was also produced in porcelain.
