Silver objects made in the United States during the late 1920s and 1930s were mostly traditional in style, although a few manufacturers catered to what was called “modernistic” taste. Skyscrapers, among the most iconic expressions of American Modernism, inspired the design of the candlesticks made by Reed & Barton.
