Ted Hallman is at the forefront of innovation in fiber art, woven textiles, and textile design. The Inner Tree combines Hallman’s interest in healing, spirituality, and integrative therapies with experiments in textile structure. His long teaching career in Canada and the United States has influenced a generation of artists; he was head of textiles at Ontario College of Art and Design (now OCAD University) in Toronto and at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia.
