Woman's Evening Dress

Zac Posen became known for his precocious talent and expansive fashion vision when he launched his own label at age twenty-one. His aim is to make flirtatious, viscerally sensuous clothes that empower women. While Posen notes he has a million ideas a minute, he seeks to create new forms and ideas that are nevertheless timeless. This gown references the draped garments of the classical world, yet the pale pink stretch jersey molds and supports the figure while ensuring freedom of movement. Posen's mastery of intricate detailing is seen in his integration of the fabric-covered cord stitched to give a ropelike effect.
