Artist/maker unknownThe border of this plate consists of alternating small and large panels decorated with either a stylized image of a peach with leaves or a representation of a pomegranate surrounded by six scrolls. The upper half of the central scene shows fowl, a fantastic bird, stylized bamboo, and other plants--all executed in the Chinese style.
