This rare poster was made to announce an exhibition of the first thirty-four linocuts completed for the set of prints titled Estampas de la revolución mexicana (Prints of the Mexican Revolution). The exhibition was organized by Francisco Dosamantes, who was the director of the Joaquin Clausell Painting Workshop in the town of Campeche at the time. The text reads (translated): The Joaquin Clausell Painting Workshop Pays Homage to the "Estampas de la Revolución Mexicana," Presenting an Exhibition of 34 Prints. Collaboration of the "T.G.P."-Taller de Gráfica Popular of Mexico. In the Arcades of the Government Palace from the 20th to the 25th of November.
