Fall 1958

Woman's Coatdress and Belt

The coatdress was a popular alternative to the suit or coat and dress ensemble during the late 1950s. Galanos belts his version of the high-waisted silhouette that dominated the American fall 1958 collections with a large "Puritan" buckle.
