Natural Mineral Water of St. Yorre - Bassin de Vichy - Jeanne d'Arc Spring

Artist/maker unknown

An image of a gilded bronze statue of Joan of Arc by Emmanuel Frémiet (1824–1910) is used in this poster to promote the virtues of this mineral water from a spring named after the martyr and heroine in the Saint-Yorre region of France. A full-size copy of Frémiet's well-known Paris landmark is installed near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, having been commissioned by the city's Fairmount Park Art Association in 1890.
