Overview:
Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of community action with an art project inspired by the revolutionary art of the quilting square with quilter and educator Sharon Tindall. Learn about Dr. King Jr. and those who fought with him throughout the civil rights movement and beyond, showing how no great action can be taken alone. To make this project accessible to as many visitors as possible, our quilts will be made with paper and constructed with scissors and glue.
Drop-in art making for all ages.
