Getting Here
Health & Safety
We have protection measures in place to ensure your safety and the preservation of the objects in our collection. See below to view more about items and actions prohibited while visiting our museum buildings, additional protections may be added onsite and are reviewed on a case by case basis.
Gallery Maintenance
The museum is undergoing a large-scale maintenance project to ensure the preservation of the collection for future visitors. Due to this work, certain galleries and individual artwork may be off view during your visit.
With over 200 galleries, there is still plenty of art, architecture and design to explore!
We are working hard to keep our online collection database accurate. If the success of your visit relies on a specific artwork being on view - please contact us below to inquire about its status. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 72 hours, depending on the item in question. Thank you for your patience.
