Join Collab at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a hands-on textile workshop. Experience the process of transforming flax straw into spinnable fiber, then sewing that thread into a simple Japanese mending pattern.

Experts from Approved Textiles and the PA Flax Project will lead this celebration of slow fashion, and discuss linen’s role as a sustainable and ethically-produced textile grown in the Philadelphia region.

Attendees to the event should enter the museum at the North Entrance on the ground floor of the main building.
